Standing out by strengths! JAC Electric Light Truck N55EV Wins Brazil's “Light Truck of the Year”
The electric light truck is destined to shine in Brazil market in 2021. At the beginning of the new year, following the batch delivery of 10 units electric light truck N55EV to PepsiCo no Brasil, the truck has gained the favor of leading companies from a number of different industries, including internationally renowned brands such as Carrefour and DHL. JAC N55EV has also received the attention of the mainstream automotive media and was awarded "Light Truck of the Year" by Estadão, a Brazilian authoritative automotive magazine.
It is the first time for the magazine's organizing committee to set up a light truck category award. The shortlisted peers with JAC N55EV include Mercedes Accelo 815 and Volkswagen Delivery 9.170. After several rounds of professional assessment, JAC N55EV, with excellent product strengths and the green pioneer concept, has caught up to Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, and has won the "Light Truck of the Year" award, marking that JAC commercial vehicle has officially entered the view of mainstream commercial vehicle user group in Brazil market.
The JAC N55EV entered Brazil in 2020 and is the first electric light truck in the market, filling the gap in the field of new energy commercial vehicles. Once has been released, the truck has attracted the attention of mainstream media such as G1, a Sao Paulo newspaper, and Estadão, an automotive magazine. It is the first time for a Chinese light truck brand, with reputation of quality, to win the market which are occupied by European and American brands, reflecting the infinite vitality of “Made in China” and the innovative pattern of "China’s commitment", and the influence even radiate throughout Latin America.
